At Favoecom, every handcrafted bookshelf is created with care, precision, and a deep respect for craftsmanship. Before any piece leaves our workshop, it is carefully inspected multiple times to ensure it meets our high standards. However, because wooden bookcase is both large and handcrafted, we maintain a clear and fair return policy, one that balances the protection of our artisans’ work with the peace of mind of our customers.

We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery. After this period, returns cannot be accepted, as handcrafted wooden furniture naturally requires stable conditions and ongoing care once it has settled into its new environment.

To qualify for a return, the product must remain in its original condition: free from scratches, cracks, stains, or any signs of damage or misuse. All original parts and accessories, including shelves, screws, tools, and the instruction manual, must be included. We also ask that each item be securely repacked, preferably using the original carton or wooden crate we provided, as proper packaging ensures the bookshelf’s safe return. If a product is returned in poor packaging or arrives damaged because of improper repacking, we may refuse the return or deduct the cost of necessary repairs from the refund. A valid order number is required for all return requests.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, Favoecom takes full responsibility. Whether it’s a cracked shelf, a structural flaw, or a mistake in shipment, we will make it right. In such cases, we cover all related costs, provide a prepaid return shipping label, arrange pickup at no cost to you, and offer the choice between a full refund — including the original $150 shipping fee — or a replacement bookshelf if the same design is available. Our goal is simple: to make sure you receive your handcrafted product in perfect condition, without added inconvenience or expense.

We also understand that sometimes, even a beautiful piece may not fit perfectly into your space or style. If you decide to return your bookshelf for personal reasons such as a change of mind or measurement misfit, you are welcome to do so within 30 days of delivery. In this case, you would be responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked freight service and repacking the product carefully to prevent any damage in transit. Once the item arrives at our workshop and passes inspection, we will issue a refund for the product price only, excluding the original $150 shipping fee. We never charge restocking fees; our only request is that the item be returned safely and in its original condition.

When your return reaches our facility, our quality control team will inspect the product within three business days. If it meets our return criteria, a refund will be processed within five business days and sent directly to your original payment method, whether Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, or another accepted service. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as your refund is initiated, although your bank or payment provider may take an additional three to seven business days to post the funds to your account.

If your bookshelf qualifies for a replacement due to a manufacturing defect or shipping damage, we will send you a brand-new one of the same model at no additional cost. In the rare event that the same design is no longer available, you may select another item of equal value or request a full refund. Replacement orders are handled with the same careful packaging and delivery process as any new shipment, ensuring that your piece arrives in perfect condition.

We also allow cancellations if your order has not yet been processed or shipped. Because our fulfillment team begins preparing orders quickly, we encourage customers to contact us within 12 hours of placing an order if they wish to cancel. Once a tracking number has been issued, the order can no longer be canceled — at that stage, the return process would apply instead.

Our approach to returns is built on fairness and transparency. If an issue arises from our side whether a quality problem, damage during transit, or an error in shipment, we take full responsibility and cover all costs, including shipping and refunds. If the return is simply your choice, you are free to send the product back, but you will cover the cost of shipping. This balance allows us to maintain fair pricing, uphold honest craftsmanship, and protect the integrity of our small workshop operations.
