Return & Refund Policy

At Favoecom, every handcrafted item—from our intricate wooden puzzles to our statement tree bookshelves—is created with care, precision, and deep respect for craftsmanship. We inspect every piece multiple times in our workshop before it travels to you. However, we maintain a clear and fair return policy that balances the protection of our artisans’ work with your peace of mind.

1. Return Window

We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a refund, the item must be in its Original Condition:

  • For Tree Bookshelves: Must be disassembled and securely packed in the original carton/crate. All parts (shelves, screws, tools, manual) must be included.

  • For Wooden Puzzles: Must be complete with no missing pieces and in the original packaging.

  • Condition: The wood must be free from scratches, cracks, stains, water damage, or signs of misuse.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom-Made / Personalized Orders: Items that have been engraved or customized specifically for you cannot be returned unless they are defective.

  • Used Items: Items showing obvious signs of wear or assembly damage.

3. Return Scenarios

A. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Item (Our Fault)

Favoecom takes full responsibility. If your order arrives with a structural flaw, a cracked shelf, or is the wrong item:

  • Action: Contact us within 72 hours of delivery with photos.

  • Resolution: We will cover all costs. You will receive a Prepaid Return Label.

  • Your Choice: You can choose a Full Refund (including original shipping) OR a Free Replacement.

    • Note for Bookcases: If only one specific part is damaged (e.g., one branch), we may send a replacement part to save you the hassle of repacking the entire unit.

B. Change of Mind (Your Choice)

If the item is in perfect condition but you decide it doesn’t fit your space or style:

  • Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

    • Warning: Returning a heavy bookshelf can be expensive. We recommend using a tracked freight service.

  • Refund Amount: We will refund the Product Price only.

    • The original shipping fee (e.g., $4.99 for puzzles or $150 for furniture) is non-refundable, as this service has already been paid to the carrier.

  • Restocking Fee: We do not charge restocking fees, provided the item is returned in good condition.

4. How to Initiate a Return

  • Contact Us: Email support@favoecom.com with your Order Number and reason for return.

  • Approval: We will review your request and provide the return address in 2308 Brooke Grove Rd, Bowie, MD 20721, United States.

  • Pack It: Securely repack the item.

    • Crucial: If a product is returned in poor packaging and arrives damaged at our workshop, we may deduct the cost of repairs from the refund.

  • Ship It: Send it back using a trackable shipping method.

5. Refund Timeline

Once your return reaches our facility:

  • Inspection: Our team inspects the product within 3 business days.

  • Processing: If approved, the refund is processed within 5 business days to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, etc.).

  • Bank Time: Please allow your bank an additional 3–7 business days to post the funds.

6. Cancellation Policy

We work fast, but we understand things change.

  • Ready-to-Ship Orders: Can be canceled within 12 hours of placing the order.

  • Custom-Made Orders: Can be canceled within 24 hours.

  • Late Cancellations: Once a tracking number has been issued, the order cannot be canceled. You will need to receive the package and follow the standard Return process (Change of Mind).
