1. Accepted Payment Options

A. Credit & Debit Cards

We accept all major international cards:

B. PayPal

Select PayPal at checkout to pay using your PayPal balance or linked bank account. This is a great option for international customers seeking extra buyer protection.

 

2. Security & Privacy

Buying high-value furniture online requires trust. We take that seriously.

  • Bank-Level Security: Our store is Level 1 PCI-DSS compliant.

  • SSL Encryption: All data transmitted during checkout is encrypted via 256-bit SSL technology.

  • No Card Storage: Favoecom does not store your full credit card number. Your financial data is processed directly by our secure payment partners (Stripe/PayPal) and is never visible to our staff.

3. Currency & International Orders (DDP)

Transaction Currency: All prices are listed and processed in U.S. Dollars (USD).

  • Note: If you are paying with a non-US card (e.g., Euro or CAD), your bank will calculate the exchange rate at the time of purchase.

All Taxes Included (Global DDP): For our customers in Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia:

  • Transparency: We operate on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis.

  • No Surprise Fees: We cover all import duties, VAT, and customs taxes on your behalf. The total you see at checkout is the final amount you pay. You will never be asked to pay extra fees to the delivery driver.

4. Troubleshooting Payment Issues

If your payment is declined, please check the following:

A. For Large Furniture Orders (High Value)

Banks often have strict fraud filters for large online transactions (e.g., over $500). If your card is declined while buying a bookshelf:

  • Check Daily Limit: Ensure you haven’t exceeded your daily spending limit.

  • Call Your Bank: Contact your bank to authorize the transaction for “Favoecom.”

  • Try PayPal: PayPal often has a higher success rate for large international transactions.

B. Common Errors

  • Billing Address: Ensure the billing address entered matches exactly what is on file with your bank (AVS Mismatch).

  • Card Details: Double-check the expiration date and CVV code.

5. Sales Tax

  • United States: Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping destination (Maryland and other applicable states).

  • International: As mentioned above, we cover the taxes for you.
